Welcome to the home of Jen'Jidai. We are a Sith based RP/PvP guild for Star Wars: The Old Republic. Here you will strive for perfection or find yourself cast to the rancor. Either way you will find what you are made of, and you will carve your own path. We fear not the night, nor do we shirk from the Darkness. We are Jen'Jidai. Monthy News: |
August 19th, 2009 - Activity Night - Trivia on August 20thThis week's activity night will be trivia. Sticking with our current competition, it will be Force-Users verse Non-Force Users. Last week, the Force-Users pulled off a victory against the Non-Force users in Texas Hold'em Poker. This week, they are looking to extend their overall lead again via a trivia victory. The Trivia event will begin at 10pm EST (August 20th - Thursday). It will probably last about an hour. We welcome all members and applicants to attend. August 17th, 2009 - SW:Tor reopens the Guild Hall.Today Bioware decided to re-open the Guild hall on the official forums. We at Jen'jidai are very happy that the moderators and folks at Bioware listened to the community regarding this fiasco. Though we won't have 100% of the freedoms we had before, at least we still have the Guild Hall and still have the ability to advertise our guilds. It is certainly a testiment to Bioware that they listened so closely to their customer base. This is, hopefully, a good sign of things to come from this wonderful company. Make sure to drive by the Official Jen'jidai thread and speak about the guild or ask questions. Remember, keep it on topic. August 9th, 2009 - Jen'jidai featured on Torocast, a unofficial podcast for SW:TorJen'jidai has been featured on Torocast, an unofficial podcast for SW:tor. This was one featuring we were very excited about as it allowed us to sit down and speak with Musco and SammMoney during their show. Many of our members listen to this podcast weekly and were very excited to get a chance to listen to Jen'jidai being interviewed. To tune in to the podcast and/or download it, please visit The Old Republic Online and download Episode 19. We wanted to also thank Musco and SammMoney for giving us some of their show's precious time. We had a lot of fun talking to them. Lastly, we want to thank them for working so very hard on these podcasts. Many of our members listen to them every Sunday. Not only are they entertaining, but they are also very informative. Thanks again for all the hard work you two do. August 7th, 2009 - Legend-Gaming's websites were down! We apologize for the inconvienance. Yes.... The good news is it's back. To summarize the reason it was down is simple. Our chatbox and other forum activities we allow our members to participate in were causing an overload of our server machine. Our host had to shut us down to prevent their other customers from having downtime on their sites. Apparently we were really cranking out some activity the last few weeks. Needless to say Legend-Gaming leadership has moved our website and forums over to a dedicated machine. As such, we're good to go again. We would like to personally apologize to any guests, members, or applicants who may have tried to connect to the site during that downtime. August 1st, 2009 - Bioware shutting down Guild Hall?? My oh My!For the past four years, Legend-Gaming has encouraged, dare I say required, it's members to participate in official forum activity by visiting the Guild Hall forums of the game we were playing and making a few posts here and there. Not only did this help advertise our community, but it helped the activity of the official forum as well. The idea is; the member would bump our thread and then spend a few minutes browsing the official forum. Today we were all rather shocked to see Bioware shutdown their guild hall system following in the footsteps of such esteemed companies as Adventurine *Roll Eyes*. Obviously, we all know this is a huge blunder on their part. The community is voicing their disagreements with this decision. In fact, I haven't been able to locate anyone who agrees with it yet. Legend-Gaming and Jen'jidai have also sent their disagreements to Bioware regarding this decision. Is Bioware the type of company that will listen to it's consumer base? Well here is our first test with thousands of forum goers now protesting this decision with ZERO folks supporting it - we'll see just how supportive bioware will be of it's consumers when this game is released. For now, lets hope this decision is reversed. For now, Legend-Gaming members and Jen'jidai members are NO longer required to visit the official forums. It will not be part of your mandated activity requirements any longer. Jen'jidai Guild Member Spotlights: |
